AGEING WELL IN SEACOMBE
Activities in St. Paul's and St. Luke's churches
Unfortunatley, all face to face activities are suspended for the time being due to COVID-19.
Through our Community Development, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. For our Ageing Well in Seacombe project, we wish to provide activities where older people can meet together, have fun, feel valued and know that they are loved and cared for. Nobody should feel isolated or alone in our community, we need to help one another.
The church community regularly has Tea and Toast on a Thursday morning from 10-12 in the church. Come along, give a donation (however much you feel appropriate) and join us for a drink, some toast, a chat and a laugh.
The church also hosts the Pensioners Tea Party on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month where there is regular Bingo but its really about getting together and having some fun with one another. Everybody is welcome and you don't actually have to be a pensioner either!
At St. Luke's Church (The Spire on the corner of Mill Lane and Breck Road) we have a Singing Cafe on Tuesday mornings from 10:30 - noon. Songs are from the 50's to the 80's. You don't have to be a great singer to join in, just enjoy the company and the music and join in if you want. It's free and there is tea and coffee available too.
We offer free Rickshaw rides along the prom, - see the video to get an idea. This is a really fun way to see the sights along the Mersey. Text 07379 276721 to book a ride or email email@example.com
